Organizations
Social Business Earth (SBE) is a Swiss social enterprise established in Lugano in 2011, specialized in sustainability, circular economy and social business development. Its goal is to provide supporting services for the creation of financially sustainable business models that reinvest all profits to solve some of the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges on a local and global level. SBE offers consulting, training, mentoring and incubation services to companies, NGOs, governments and social entrepreneurs who want to develop sustainable initiatives and social businesses.
Tenuta Castello di Morcote extends its work on a vast promontory surrounded by Lake Ceresio, south of Lugano: 172 hectares of uncontaminated nature and woods, where in addition to wine, olive oil and honey are produced. It has recently obtained the bio-federal certification and is among the first wineries in Switzerland to have been evaluated with over 90 Parker points by The Wine Advocate journal.
Ferelca began its activity in 1983, thanks to the enthusiasm and craftsmanship of its founder Elio Calcagni (vice-president of Velo Club Lugano). The company, active in the field of mmetal constructions, verandas, doors and windows, offers the utmost attention to its customers, successfully collecting the requests of the various market segments.
