Cristina Martinelli
Cristina Martinelli has been passionate about dance since the age of five. She graduated in Physical Education and continued her exploration of the body and movement through training in Sensitive Dance and psychodynamic Dance Movement Therapy, deepening her study of muscular chains in relation to the individual’s psychophysical structuring with Benoite Lessage.
For a decade she assisted and collaborated with Claude Coldy in seminars held both in nature and in the studio. During a long period she led adult groups and integrated Sensitive Dance into her work as a teacher of physical activities in primary schools.
From her encounter with Nanni De Ambrogio, promoter and co-founder of the Mindfulness Project, the practice of “Sensitive Meditation” was born. For several years she also explored, together with Marina Borruso, techniques centered on present-moment awareness inspired by the teachings of Eckhart Tolle.
Currently she combines her passion for movement with a spiritual path focused on personal growth through connection with Nature.
To open the body and discover spaces of luminous breathing, to open the gaze within the quietness of receptivity, to open the heart in its loving quality. Beginning from oneself, in one’s own coherence and truth, it becomes possible to rediscover the ability to orient toward recognizing the value of movement in life and of life itself.
